Half Moon Bay

Well, Sonny bolted for the first bus back to his car in Alameda! I don't blame him. We are both overworked, underpaid and had a rough ride from Alameda to Half Moon Bay. Sonny is also very much missing his girlfriend in San Diego. It is foggy here in the anchorage. We spent a couple sunny hours on the beach earlier, but the wind was blowing, so it wasn't exactly balmy. I took Jonah to the Yacht Club and we sat at the bar- me with a pint and he with OJ. It was great. Poor Heidi, Jonah and Gabriella were sick on the passage from Alameda and we will need to clean the Starboard side of the boat of chunks!

Here's a Photo of Grammo with the kids saying our goodbyes.

Next stop is Santa Cruz. It is about 60 miles which takes us roughly 10 hours. It will be our first longer coastal passage.

Departure Imminent!

After a solid week of 12-15 hour days, we are going to make for the Golten Gate Bridge in the morning, into the Pacific, and Left to Half Moon Bay. Sonny has been an invaluable help in installing our watermaker. It was a beast of a project and would surely have gone unfinished for a while had he not been here. I don't want to see another hose clamp or wire crimp for the rest of my life!
